10. Vibram Lady Fivefingers Bikila Running Shoes

Vibrams are the leading brand in ‘barefoot’ technology and for good reason.  If you’re looking for an “invisible” shoe then this is the model for you.  It takes a little while to get used to having each of your toes separate and the lack of bulky support and cushioning we are all so used to with normal sneakers makes the Vibrams a real eye-opening experience.  But once you’re used to them it’s tough to go back to big, heavy running shoes.

BEST FOR:  minimalists and people who want to “FEEL” how their feet move.  Find out more…

9. Saucony Women’s ProGrid Guide 5 Running Shoe

Just a really solid running shoe.  The ProGrid Guide 5 seemed to have a lot more stability than a lot of the other shoes we tried.  Perfect for those with arch or pronation problems.  Very comfortable material and we noticed that our feet didn’t sweat much while wearing these babies.   Fantastic for running outdoors.

$59+

BEST FOR:  trail runners and people who do a lot of outdoor running.  Check out the Stellar reviews HERE…

8. ASICS Women’s Gel-Kahana 5 Running Shoe

Our favorite budget shoe.  If you’re looking for an inexpensive running shoe that will handle everything you throw at it then the Kahana 5 is what you need.  Again, great for trail running and outdoors use.  Really airy/breathable mesh upper which helped combat excessive sweat and odor.  Very comfortable even after a long run – we think it’s because of the nicely padded upper and tongue.

$53+

BEST FOR;  budget minded outdoor runners.  Find out more…

7. Merrell Women Barefoot Pace Glove Shoe

The perfect compromise between the Vibram ‘barefoot’ shoe and standard running shoes.    Again, minimalist running shoes are an acquired taste but once you get used to the ultra-lightweight feel, you’ll wonder why you didn’t make the switch sooner.  Suprisingly durable – we expected these to get battered and broken outdoors on the trails but they held up really well.

$65+

BEST FOR:  those wanting to try out minimalist shoes but not ready for the Vibram experience.  Fiind out more…

6. New Balance Women’s W750 Athletic Running Shoe

Crazy light and comfortable shoe.  We loved wearing these for indoor cardio, kickboxing and Zumba classes.  The really grippy rubber sole  meant we had no problems on slippy wooden floors in the gym studio…..which was great because we were sweating a TON!

$50+

BEST FOR:  indoor fitness class fanatics.  Find out more…

5. Mizuno Women’s Wave Creation 13 Running Shoe

These are running shoes for the more serious runner.  Light, supportive and boasting excellent breathability.  Sure they’re a little more expensive, but if you’re intending to log some decent running miles, then it’s well worth the extra couple of bucks.  Mizuno claims these running shoes will just last LONGER than your last pair.  So you may even save money in the long run!

$83+

BEST FOR:  the more serious runner who needs that little extra support.  Find out more…

4. PUMA Women’s Voltaic 3 NM Running Shoe

The first thing you’ll notice when you wear the Voltaic 3 is the extra ‘spring’ in your step.  We jumped and bounced around the gym in these for hours and they were far more comfortable than some of the other more ‘running oriented’ sneaks.  One thing to note is that these run a little small, so think about ordering a pair a half size larger than normal.

$58+

BEST FOR:  indoor gym fanatics.  Perfect for those long indoor routines.  Find out more…

3. Brooks Women’s Adrenaline GTS 12 Running Shoe

This is Brooks’ best-selling women’s running shoe which really tells you all you need to know.  Great support, great cushioning and great air circulation.    One of the girls in our office has painful arches and has to be careful with choosing new running shoes.  She took to these like a duck to water and we haven’t been able to get them off her since.

$78+

BEST FOR:  women with knee, arch or foot complaints.  Check out the fantastic reviews HERE…

2. ASICS Women’s GEL-Kayano 18 Running Shoe

The RUNNER UP for 2013.  Christy grabbed these straight out of the package they came in and has been wearing them ever since.  Super grippy rubber sole prevents any slips and the support the Kayano 18 offers is really second to none.  Christy does a ton of high-impact exercises and swears that these sneaks are helping her perform better, longer and at a higher intensity.  She has suffered from a few blisters in the past but hasn’t had even a sore heel since wearing the Kayano’s.  Just a fantastic shoe.

$92+

BEST FOR:  Christy Hansen!  If you’re serious about any high-impact training, these are for you.  There are something like 160 positive reviews HERE which shows that we’re not alone in loving these shoes.  Check them out NOW…

1. ASICS Women’s Gel-Blur33 2.0 Running Shoe

Our favorite Women’s Running shoe for 2013.  The reason we picked the Gel Blur 33 2.0’s ahead of the Kayano’s is that they’re a little better value for money.  Times are tight right now and we love nothing more than picking up a bargain.  And the Blur 33 2.0’s are an absolute STEAL!  Comfortable, responsive and, well, they just look superb.  Grab a pair today and show them off down at the Gym tomorrow.    Oh, and they start at only SIXTY bucks!  Crazy.

$ 60+

BEST FOR:  ANYONE!  These shoes simply rock.  They’re our top choice for 2013.  Find out more and grab a pair TODAY HERE…
